Dinosaur true or false game!



Hello Year 3 and welcome to your blog, your first task is to decide which of the following dinosaur statements are true and which are false? After that can you please explain what the following dinosaur related words mean: Fossil, Paleontologist, Excavation

True or False?
  1. Dinosaurs used to hunt and eat humans.
  2. Dinosaurs slept standing up.
  3. All dinosaurs had tails.
  4. Herbivore dinosaurs had no teeth.
  5. Sharks are the only dinosaurs that are still alive today.
  6. All dinosaurs were fierce.
  7. Humans killed the last dinosaurs.
  8. Dinosaurs only lived on Earth for a short time.
  9. Tyrannosaurus was a carnivorous dinosaur.
  10. Humans didn’t appear until 60 million years after the extinction of dinosaurs.
  11. Dinosaur fossils can be found in all continents.
  12. Dinosaurs only lived on land- animals that lived in the sea at that time were not dinosaurs.

    Number 9,10,11 are true and the rest is false.
    Fossil is a old bone but there can be plants which can also be fossils.Paleantologist is someone who digs for fossils and puts it into a museum.Excavation site is somwhere where paleantologists work.
